Study with Jillibean Soup

Today I'm a sharing a fun and eclectic layout that I created for Jillibean Soup.I created this layout using the Cool as a Cucumber collection, even though this collection is more "boyish" it can still be used for fun layouts of the girls. The diecut lightbulb was the inspiration for my layout. I wanted to create a fun background, to do I used two circle punches and lined up the circles in a random fashion. Hope you'll stop by the Jillibean Soup blog to see how the DT has used this collection.

Love You

Hello friends! My blog has been quiet this past week, I've been working on assignments for Jillibean Soup for the summer trade show taking place in Atlanta next week. Jillibean Soup is debuting 3 new awesome collections, I always feel so privilege to create projects to represent the company and the new lines.

You can see all the reveals on the Jillibean Soup blog.

I do have a project to share today, this layout was created on the fly, with leftovers of mini album projects. I didn't have many supplies from the Oh Darling collection, I used most of them to create a mini album, which I'll share at a later date. So while cleaning up I came across these supplies, there was no point in putting them away, so I decided to do a quick layout. The focus is on the chipboard embellishments, I have very little pattern paper on this layout, the top portion of this layout is covered with journaling cards. I think this layout came together is less than an hour, which is always a bonus for me.

See The World

Happy Monday friends! I'm excited to share this layout of my oldest dd,  I used the Market Street collection by My Mind's Eye. I love this collection, this is my 4th lo with it and I could just keep on creating with it, the only stopping me is that I'm running low on supplies. I guess I should have stocked up on more. LOL!

My girl wants to see the world, she has big dreams and ambitions on how she will accomplish this. I am happy that she has the urge at such a young age to learn about our beautiful planet and what this world has to offer. The adventure awaits chipboard element was a perfect match for this layout, it seems like it was just meant for this.

The colour palette is soft and muted, but the punch of gold really ties it all together and makes the pink elements stand out. I used a butterfly punch to create a negative shape with the gold velum paper. I decided to keep the wood veneers au natural as they complimented the soft tones of this layout. Hope you enjoy this project!

Card with Jillibean Soup

Hello friends, I'm back today sharing cards I created for my July assignment for Jillibean Soup. I love the new Cool as a Cucumber line, it is so fun and vibrant. When working on my assignments I always keep the cards for last and I used whatever is leftover from my projects, so the layouts I create dictate the cards I will create. It's a great way to use bits and pieces leftover that would otherwise be thrown out.
